Japan has faced horrible hardships in the last while, and more than ever they need your support. There are several ways that you can be a part of the relief effort, I will provide information below.
Firstly, the Canadian Red Cross has set up a Japan Relief Effort fund. To donate directly to this fund, please follow this link. http://american.redcross.org/site/Donation2?idb=0&5052.donation=form1&df_id=5052
You can also Text: REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
If you'd all be kind enough to take a second to click the link that I have provided, you will be directed to a page run by a great group of guys who are intent on using their talents to make a change in this world and come to the aid of those in need. Of course, Japan is at the top of this list right now.
Canadian band Simple Plan, who have many loyal supporters in Japan and have visited themselves many times, have created a shirt in tribute to Japan, and all proceeds from the $20 purchase of one of these shirts will go to the Red Cross Japan Relief Effort. Please go here to purchase a shirt: http://merchdirect.com/SimplePlanFoundation/Tshirts/SP_Japan?productid=13876
The band themselves have already selflessly donated $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross on behalf of their foundation (more information about The Simple Plan Foundation below) to help Japan earthquake and tsunami Relief Effort.
I myself have purchased two of these shirts, and I hope that many of you will do the same. Buy it as a gift for someone close to you, and let them know that you have aided in the relief efforts.
My heart goes out to those in Japan, and those who have loved ones residing there.
Also, Simple Plan have a special foundation which could also use your support.
The Simple Plan Foundation was created to help young people in need. The foundation's goals include:
- finding ways to help teenagers deal with the often difficult passage to adulthood.
- helping and supporting young people who are the victims of life threatening illnesses.
- Encouraging and promoting the practice of music as a privileged tool to help young kids find a passion in life, keeping them away from street gangs and criminality, and preventing them from dropping out of school. The Foundation also supports musicotherapy programs to help sick young people.
We all know someone who fits into one of these categories, perhaps it's a friend, someone you work with, or a family member. Regardless, these people deserve a chance, and donating to the foundation is one way that you can help.
Please visit: http://simpleplanfoundation.org for more information, or to make a contribution.
I will also be selling some personal items of value, and am currently working on some special art pieces for my Etsy shop in order to contribute to the Simple Plan Foundation.
I will post links to the auctions and also to my Etsy site as they become available.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please know that each one of us can make a difference.

It's Been Forever And A Day.....
I absolutely vow that I will actually start to use this place again as a tool to unload all of the clutter that is constantly in my head.
Firstly, an update regarding my move. I happily reside in my new house, it's a beautiful old house from the 1930's that we added extensions to. I own the entire upstairs, it's my loft. *pics below*
I Took this pic the night before we moved in. I love the way it turned out.
Here it is in the daylight,... and before landscaping,... xD
This is one view of my bedroom. It has changed some since this picture was taken.
Another view of my room. A Window bench has now been built in that dormer.
My closet and dressing area. I have a lot more clothing jammed in there now, plus another full closet in the adjoining Art studio/Guest room. (I have an issue with buying clothing and shoes. lol)
One last one for now, the beautiful window in my dormer. This is the window that my window bench now resides under. :) I also have a horrible need to collect glass birds. (I have close to 100 now.)
Anyway,... on to bigger and better things......

GOOD GOD it's been ages.....
I forgot I owned this blog till I decided to make a blog and realized I had an account.
GO ME.
So. The moving thing. It's so close to happening I can spit on it. The house is almost built, it doesn't look too bad. Funny thing,.. there is this little black squirrel that seems to have moved into the unfinished house. He even hides nuts all over the place. In work boots, in the ventilation ducts, in my dad's toolbox,.... we have asked him politely to leave but he won't listen.
Does the 30 days eviction notice apply for squirrels or can we just pile all of his nuts on the back porch and change the locks?
Anyways,.... back to my random packing. I never realized I had this much shit. Or did I?
Ciao for Now.

MOVING IS SHIT.
Okay.
So apparently change can be a good thing. I'm contemplating whether or not this is actually true. I'm moving beginning to middle of next year, and I had no idea all of the work that involved. I have so much shit that I am actually packing as we speak. (well, things I know I won't need before the move anyways,..)
I have come to realize that I am a packrat and then some. I have uncovered shit that I forgot I had. It's amazing. Here are a few pics of my shitty shitty room,...
Such a mess,.... lol At least my closet doesn't look that bad..
This is my "floor to ceiling" wallunit storage thing,...
This is the floor in front of the floor to ceiling storage thing,..
My desk and tha space in front of my door...
So anyways,.. it's coming along, but I hate it regardless. I hope everything works out with the move, but who knows? Wish me luck.

Mental Earthquakes......
Where to start I wonder?
I suppose the best place would be the beginning, but things are so confusing for me right now that I am not exactly sure where the beginning actually is. When I find it you'll be informed.
I finally decided to do a 24 hour live cam website, which has been done. Technical difficulties at the moment, but as soon as it's up and running I'll post the link. I warn you all now, this will be very very frightening to say the very least.
Christmas is coming on faster and faster every year. I think we all get caught up in the gift giving, shopping, holiday sales and marketing ploys, and therefor forget what the Holiday is really about. When I was a kid I didn't understand anything but the presents, but now that I'm older I'm just looking for the joy on the faces of the kids that still believe in Santa Clause because I lost that joy long ago. I hope that upcoming generations can hold on to those beliefs a little longer than I did.
On that note, I did set up my tree recently with my mom, (pictures below) and it turned out to be really beautiful in the long run. Nothing beats decorating a tree with a cup of cocoa, Christmas tunes in the background, and the people you care about. I'm hoping that people will focus more on the tree and not so much the gifts that are slowly piling up under it.
wow. I just read everything that I wrote above, and the first thing that came to mind is that I think I sound like a Christmas Emo. AWESOME. (insert raging sarcasm here)
I'll post again when my head gets too full to hold any more of my random thoughts about life. This blog is like a filing cabinet for all of the random shit that floats around in there. I'm just afraid i might run out of room.

This would be the x-mas tree.
